    We are looking for honest, hardworking individuals.

    Cadets attend a 24 week Academy.

    Police officers will patrol the City of Albuquerque to maintain a safe and secure environment for our residents and enforce the laws of New Mexico.

    Requirements:

    • Must be 21 years of age by graduation from the Academy

    • Valid driver’s license

    • United States Citizen

    • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

    • No misdemeanors within the last 3 years

    • No DWI arrests within the last 5 years

    • No multiple DWI arrests within the last 10 years

    • No felony convictions

    • No Domestic Violence convictions

    • Must not be in collections over $500.00
