Who We Are: From jet engines to power generation, financial services to plastics, and medical imaging to news and information, GE people worldwide are dedicated to turning imaginative ideas into leading products and services that help solve some of the world’s toughest problems. Our depth allows us to lead in big markets by providing unmatched solutions for our customers; our breadth allows us to spread concepts across the Company, leveraging one small idea to create a big financial gain; and our strength allows us to take the risks required to grow. We make size an advantage without ever allowing it to be a disadvantage. GE CultureOur culture is all about providing everyone who works here with the opportunities to exercise their responsibility, integrity, creativity, and accountability while growing themselves, their careers, and our business. We believe that life at GE leaves you a better person than when you first walked through our doors. Rewards & Benefits GE wants you to stay healthy, to be able to manage illness, and to get better faster. We offer comprehensive medical and dental coverage. We offer valuable tax benefits and a company match that works with employee contributions to help you save for the future. We also provide our employees with hundreds of everyday discounts, savings at local shops, seasonal shopping guides, and promotions. At GE, learning is part of our way of life. Employees can take advantage of tuition reimbursement benefits to help improve their skills, grow their career, or get a loan to help pay for their family’s higher education. LifestyleLiving a rich, full life means doing more than just working hard. At GE we hope that what you learn at work helps you get more from your life outside of the office. We never know what will be the source of inspiration. After all, a good idea is as likely to find you on a ski slope as it is at your desk. So we treasure our employees’ excitement and interests, because vital, dynamic lives produce vital, dynamic ideas, and that is our business. Social ResponsibilityGE strives to be a great company, with the capability, reach, and resources to make a lasting difference. But more than that, GE is a good company, defining our success by our results and by how we achieve them. Being a good company means that we push ourselves to do our best, for our customers, for our shareholders, for the company, for ourselves, for those around us, and for the world that we all share.

As a gift from GE in appreciation of service, you will have authorization to charge up to $100 on your GE corporate cards to take your family out to dinner. Your managers are also given specific checklists to welcome you back to work and to be sure you are introduced to changes that have taken place organizationally as well as revised or new processes.
