Conco Industrial Services is an 85 year old, privately held, fast growing service company that specializes in cleaning tough deposits (in industries such as refineries, catalyst services, power generation and alumina) using controlled liquid nitrogen and Hydro Drilling systems.  We are actively hiring reliable Service Technicians, Service Technician Supervisors, Nitro-Lance Technicians and Nitro-Lance Technician Supervisors in the heat exchanger cleaning field.

Initial training is conducted by Conco and on occasion additional training at the job-site will be required.  All personal protective equipment is provided.  All training is considered worked time and will be paid for.

 

Field Service Technician

Service Technicians are responsible for efficiently removing deposits from refineries and chemical plants heat exchangers tubes in order to restore, improve and maintain their optimal operating performance. In addition, troubleshooting, equipment and trailer setups will play a vital role in this position. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Clean heat exchanger tubes by use of a water pump system with assorted tube cleaners and/or a hydro drill.
  • Reads a pressure gauge to identify drop and/or rise in pressure from water pump system.
  • Frequently lifts, transports, assembles/reassembles, carries or otherwise moves and positions equipment weighting up to 75 pounds when loading/unloading vehicle and setting up to and from job site.
  • Trouble shoots equipment on the field to continue production.
  • Test and prepare all equipment before a project.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all service equipment.
  • Set up all support equipment as needed i.e. generator and compressor.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of basic hand tools
  • Open availability to travel for short periods and the ability to work overtime if needed
  • Ability to climb scaffolding, work in confined spaces and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Primarily perform work in refineries and chemical plants under extremely hot, cold, wet and/or noisy areas
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Security Background Check & Drug Screening (employment is contingent upon favorable results check)
  • Valid Driver’s License with favorable driving record
  • Ability to travel at a moments notice
  • Experience in Chemical plants is preferred but not necessary

 

Field Service Technician Supervisors

Service Supervisors are responsible for efficiently managing a team to remove deposits from refineries and chemical plants heat exchangers tubes in order to restore, improve and maintain their optimal operating performance. In addition, troubleshooting, equipment and trailer setups and maintaining field customer relationships will play a vital role in this position. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise between 1 to 8 technicians to a specific goal to meet schedule and cleaning needs from the customer.
  • Manually heat exchange tubes by use of a water pump system with assorted tube cleaners and/or a hydro drill with drill bits.
  • Reads a pressure gauge to identify drop and/or rise in pressure from water pump system.
  • Frequently lifts, transports, assembles/reassembles, carries or otherwise moves and positions equipment weighting up to 75 pounds when loading/unloading vehicle and setting up to and from job site.
  • Trouble shoots equipment on the field to continue production.
  • Test and prepare all equipment before a project.
  • Get permits to enter refineries and chemical plants.
  • Handle all communication with plant contacts while executing work.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all service equipment.
  • Set up all support equipment as needed i.e. generator and compressor.
  • Walk downs to determine cleaning method in chemical plants and refineries.

Requirements:

  • Sound knowledge of basic hand tools

NitroLance Service Technician

NitroLance Service Technicians are responsible for efficiently removing deposits from refineries and chemical plants heat exchangers, reactors, sulfur recovery units tubes in order to restore, improve and maintain their optimal operating performance. In addition, troubleshooting, equipment and trailer setups will play a vital role in this position. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Clean heat exchanger tubes by use of controlled liquid Nitrogen system with varying nozzle configurations.
  • Frequently lifts, transports, assembles/reassembles, carries or otherwise moves and positions equipment weighting up to 75 pounds when loading/unloading vehicle and setting up to and from job site.
  • Trouble shoots equipment on the field to continue production.
  • Test and prepare all equipment before a project.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all service equipment.
  • Set up all support equipment as needed i.e. generator and compressor.

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical experience/ability (1-2 year previous experience preferred)
  • Sound knowledge of motors/pumps and high-tech equipment
  • Open availability to travel for short periods and the ability to work overtime if needed
  • Ability to climb scaffolding, work in confined spaces and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Primarily perform work (for long periods of time) in refineries and chemical plants under extremely hot, cold, wet and/or noisy areas
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Security Background Check & Drug Screening (employment is contingent upon favorable results check)
  • Valid Driver’s License with favorable driving record
  • Ability to travel at a moments notice
  • Experience in Chemical plants is preferred
